Underneath shows a variety of hair styles I tried on my hair to make my outfits look more urban, the different hairstyles all have different meaning which is why I tried to see what one will best suit me and the mode of address and compliment the show. 



Hairstyle 1



This hairstyle is the 'messy look' I tried this hairstyle first to see if it would go with the feeling being young and free as appose to the hair being messy and free. I then thought would it go with my outfit and what I'm trying to overcome and it did not this was because if the viewers see my hair messy they may think I'm not serious and maybe the show is not serious. I also wanted young girls who watch the show to have some influences on what I am wearing and how I look and the hair like this did not go with what I wanted to portray myself as.



Hairstyle 2



This hairstyle is the 'Straight' look this is the kind of look you would go for if you have to look very plain and natural. I feel this hairstyle does not look ambitious enough for the type of show we are portraying. I feel the hairstyle looks to simple and would not really compliment my outfit.




Hairstyle 3



This hair style is known as the 'messy bun' the messy bun is more used for when your going to the shop or something, mainly for the use of doing your hair really quickly which is why I do not think this hair would suit the show or me. If I am wearing something really nice and my hair is like this is would not make any sense. It would also look like I don't care about my image.



Hairstyle 4



This hairstyle is called the 'side slicked' hairstyle this hairstyle is a sort of hair style that you would have to compliment a really outrageous outfit, I feel this hair style is very clam but look edgy at the same time which could help compliment my outfit.

Hairstyle 5

This hairstyle is the 'back pony-tale' which how many news presenters would have their hair because it looks very smart and helps to give a clear look and also helps them to look very plain. I don't think this hairstyle will go with the show because the show is aimed at young people and if I look smart they might not want to watch the show because they may get the impression that it is a very serious show.

The hairstyle I have chosen: 

I have chosen this hairstyle because it looks very young and the curly look goes well with the whole urban theme it can also compliment my outfit but not look over the top because the curls will be loose curls. This will also look nice with the lighting because it will stand out with the black backdrop.
